Wade has been with Pappas Properties since 2002. He entered the real estate industry in the mid-1990s as a commercial broker in Silicon Valley and San Diego and has also worked as an analyst at Clarion Partners’ CMBS fund in New York City.
At Pappas Properties, Wade has been involved in numerous mixed-use developments, focusing on project financing as well as lease and sale transactions. Notable projects include:
Financing and leasing Sharon Square, a multi-use development in Charlotte’s SouthPark market anchored by WholeFoods and the regional headquarters of SunTrust Bank
Five land sale transactions in partnership with private equity firm Cherokee at the Southline assemblage, which is located on Charlotte’s light rail Blue Line
At the Metropolitan development, a mixed-use redevelopment adjacent to downtown Charlotte completed in 2008, coordination with local municipal governments on one of the area’s first synthetic Tax Increment Financing structures
The debt and equity financing of numerous Terwilliger Pappas Solis apartment developments in Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham and Atlanta
Wade received his BA in economics from UC Berkeley and MS in accounting from San Diego State University.
